Privacy

• Organisers: your account email, sign-in details, any name or business name you add, and the events you create.
• Participants: your name, email, optional mobile number, the number of seats you commit, whether you agreed to the event conditions, and how you reached the event page (for example a Facebook or WhatsApp link).

• To run events and record conditional commitments.
• To send service emails, such as your commitment confirmation and the organiser’s decision.
• To answer support requests.
• To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

The organiser of an event can see the name, email, mobile number and seats of people who commit to their own event, so they can run it and contact you about it.

An organiser may give someone read-only helper access. Those helpers see only a restricted view — first name, seats, commitment status and time — and never your email or mobile number.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. We don’t send it your name, email or private manage link, and advertising features are turned off.

CountToGo also keeps its own simple event counts, such as page views, commitment starts and booking-link taps, so organisers can see how their event is doing. These don’t identify you.

We never sell participant or organiser personal information.

Trusted service providers — for hosting, databases, email delivery and analytics — may process information only so CountToGo can operate.

CountToGo does not take payments. If an event goes ahead, you book and pay directly with the organiser or their own booking provider, under their terms and privacy practices.

We keep information for as long as it’s needed to run events and the service. You can change or withdraw a commitment with your private manage link. To ask for a copy of your information, a correction or deletion, email us and we’ll help.

We use reasonable measures to protect information, such as encrypted connections, access controls and private links that are stored only in scrambled form. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
